PARADISE, PROBABLY
A film by Elia Suleiman
Elia Suleiman, director and protagonist of this story, leaves Palestine and ventures into the world, certain of the need for a change in her life. However, however distant he may be from his native land, the truth is that everything seems to make a point of reminding him of where he comes from: the police, the border control agents, the various manifestations of racism or the looks of strangeness that he awakens in others. Despite constant efforts to leave the past behind and start a new life, nothing seems to work, since everything takes you back to your origins.
A comedy that reflects on the weight of identity and nationality.

PABLO NERUDA'S WALLET
Based on the book Il Postino by Antonio Skármeta, THE PABLO NERUDA'S CARTEIRO portrays the friendship between the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda and a humble young postman.
In 1952, Pablo Neruda (Philippe Noiret) is forced, for political reasons, to live in exile on a small Italian island, where he meets Mario Ruoppolo (Massimo Troisi), son of fishermen aimlessly in life, madly in love with the most beautiful woman in the city but too shy to tell you how you feel about her. Gradually Neruda teaches Mario love, life and poetry so that he can win the heart of his beloved.
A fun romantic comedy and a tribute to the love that has marked an entire generation!
