FIKE - ÉVORA INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL

With a structure that allows for itinerancy, the exhibitions of works distinguished by the ESTAÇÃO IMAGEM, BOLSA and FESTIVAL DE FOTOJORNALISMO awards have been annually visiting various Portuguese and Galician cities, attracting a wide audience.
 

We still dreamed of Europe and Europe was here, in the cities we inhabited, in the fields we were still farming, in the trawlers that were left, in the clay we molded or in the corners with which we sublimated our eternal nostalgia. Europe was here, in the dreams and shared pain, in the threats of viruses and hatred, in the endless financial crises, in the burning ecological crisis of the earth underfoot, in the inequalities that divide us, in the despair that impinges on the search for hospitality, but also in the shared utopia of a united, democratic and fraternal Europe.
