Carla Magro Dias
Author and Scientific Consultant of the Maria Ilhéu Action | Born on the slopes of Serra da Arrábida in 1966. Master in Ecology and PhD in Ecology and Environment. Assistant Professor at the Department of Landscape, Environment and Planning at the University of Évora (http: //www.uevora.pta), and Researcher at the Institute of Mediterranean Agricultural and Environmental Sciences - MED. He has coordinated several scientific projects in the area of Conservation of Aquatic Ecosystems and supervised Master and Doctoral theses. She is the author of a set of scientific publications in the field of Ecology of rivers and their fauna. In recent years, he has also dedicated himself to interdisciplinary projects in the field of Education for Sustainability, and Ecological Reconciliation with a focus on rescuing the Human-Nature connection, such as the action research projects with academic communities “HUMANO-NATURE: Educational Experience in the Natural Environment ”and“ ID-NATURA: Natural Heritage is Heritage of Identity ”and ECOCRIATIVITY: an environmental education strategy”.
Maria Ilhéu
Cultural Action Mediator and author of the soundtrack António Bexiga [Tó-Zé Bexiga] - Born in Évora in 1976. He studied piano and classical guitar, later jazz guitar. He went through several projects from rock to experimental music, fusion and improvised music. Then he discovered root music and the pleasure of turning it inside out. For several years he has been dedicated to exploring traditional repertoires and one instrument in particular: the viola campaniça, which he has placed in different musical contexts, from popular music to rock or experimental music and soundscape. He has several works in cinema, theater, contemporary dance and puppet theater. He holds regular guitar workshops, viola campaniça, sound exploration and musical creativity. He was an active member of projects like Uxu Kalhus and No Mazurka Band; founder of Há lobos other than in the mountains, Bicho do Mato, among others. Recently, he recorded with Kepa Junkera for Ath Thurda, Celina da Piedade, António Caixeiro and Cantadores de Paris.
